Aging is the process in various beverages like wine , vodka , tequila , Gin , Rum and many more.

Does Aging alcoholic beverages makes them good or harmful ? 

Answer:- There can be many answers to that question but that totally depends on what drink you are consuming and how you are consuming it. 

Let's get started with the most famous Beverages. 

WINE 

wine is the drink that people think that the old is the better , but that is an myth . 
Most of wines are produced to consume as soon as possible as it gives the wine fresh flavour and aroma of the fruits . 

There are several wines which are aged for years it doesn't mean that they are not good. They are good also but then the wine doesn't have it's original taste. 

WHISKEY

whiskey also have a lot of myths about aging also. Yes aged whiskey are good but they are aged in a specified barrels and then got out for packaging. 

Aged whiskey will not affect your health , matured whiskey have good taste then some of the other whiskey's . 

VODKA 

vodka is not supposed to be aged but some of the brewers does the experiment of aging the vodka . 
For vodka aging is not good as it is a clear sprit and aging affects the colour of the vodka and as well as the taste. 

RUM 

Actually aged Rum are much better then the fresh ones. There is nothing like expirey in these cases until and unless the bottels are open. 

GIN

Just like vodkas Gin is also not supposed to be aged. 
As the original taste of gin comes when the herbs and all the ingredients are fresh not aged. 

TEQUILA

In old times tequila gets to be stored as it was used for the medicine some people used to store the tequila according to them it enhances the taste and alcohol percentage in it. 


BEER 

Beer is also not supposed to be aged.
